School for Spiritual Direction Continuing Education:
24 Hours at Adelynrood

About the Program

For graduates of our program and others involved in ministries of Spiritual Companionship and pastoral guidance. Come and spend 24 hours with us, refreshing your skills through the presentations offered in our School for Spiritual Direction.

Experience the Holy Routine at Adelynrood. Arrive late Monday afternoon, in time for registration and dinner, followed by program and Night Prayers.

Be a co-learner in the Spiritual Direction all day Tuesday (total of 8 hours of instruction).

Explore what it means to listen for God’s dream for our lives using creativity and imagination as well as active listening. Practice discernment through attention to your own story, and through participation in a “clarity team” – a group process for clarifying and exploring our desire and God’s desire for our lives.

Facilitator: Dr. Kathleen Henderson Staudt
