Join us for a Meal at Adelynrood
Adelynrood’s chef, Adam Segal, is known for his eclectic mix ranging from light and health-conscious “Spa Cuisine” to traditional American comfort foods. Guests find a menu designed to use fresh, seasonal ingredients and that always includes fresh fruit and garden salads.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Chef Segal has been cooking professionally for over 30 years in a wide variety of catering, academic and restaurant kitchens. Now, Adelynrood guests and nearby residents looking for a great meal can enjoy the creative breadth of his creations from main dishes to desserts.
Tasty Seasonal Cuisine
Practically everything is made from scratch using fresh seasonal ingredients when possible. Guests enjoy American cuisine along with cuisine from Spain, France, Italy, the Middle East and Asia. Vegan and vegetarian options often are part of the menu.
Menus emphasize fresh produce, prepared in a simple fashion that accentuates the underlying natural flavors. When it comes to dessert, Chef Segal and his staff love to create tempting goodies to top off the meal. Most of our desserts are made from scratch out of fresh, healthy ingredients and no trans fats.
While guests or visiting groups cannot select their own menu, those with special dietary needs can let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate those needs.
Dining Visitors Welcome
If you are looking for a fresh, tasty meal in a unique setting, the Adelynrood Dining Room welcomes you to join us even if you are not part of a program or overnight stay. Nearby community residents often are seen enjoying Chef Segal’s creations. Companions host a complementary social hour at 5:45 p.m. Friends of Bill also gather some evenings at 5:45 p.m. Please let the Adelynrood hostess know if you are interested in Friends of Bill.
