A Celebration of Creativity and Color in Handcrafts

About the Program

Crochet, needlepoint, embroidery and other fiber artists are invited to spend a weekend celebrating color and creativity. Bring your ongoing projects and patterns, or look to learn new patterns and techniques from experienced teachers. We will knit together, and share techniques and skills with each other. Beginning learners are welcome!

Three Companion crafters lead the workshop. Artist, knitter, spinner and weaver Lois Blood Bennett teaches theory of color in art and design. Artist Muffy Paradise shares her experience with naturally dyed fiber. Robin Williams, knitter and colorist, explores national and ethnic styles in fabric and knitting design, including the creative results when two styles encounter each other.
