Explore Adelynrood

We welcome all, women and men, who cross our threshold looking for a place of peace and strive to make everyone’s stay restful and renewing.

Adelynrood is in Byfield, Massachusetts, near historic Newburyport and Plum Island with its beach, wildlife refuge and state reservation. Our site backs up to The Great Marsh, the largest salt marsh in New England. Our 14 acre campus includes:

  • Main House built in 1914 with many living areas, five libraries, dining room and 65 bedrooms
  • Chapel
  • Multiple gardens and large front and back lawns
  • Paths through five wooded acres
  • The “Stations of Creation," a guided meditation walk
  • Stone labyrinth
  • Pine Grove
  • St Clare, our year round facility housing our conference rooms and administrative offices.
  • Five cottages

To explore more of our campus, please look at the other pages under the Explore Adelynrood website menu section (see right hand column), download our Adelynrood brochure, or consider visiting and taking a tour of our beautiful site.
